Will there be food options for my dietary restriction?

Yes, please indicate your dietary restrictions in the registration form. Meals for last minute registrations (within 7 days) may not be able to be altered to fit all dietary needs, however we will do our best!

Can I attend the post-ride festivities if I did not register for the event?

Yes! All are welcome at Prince Eddy’s all day long. Those who did not register will not receive a meal or free beer, but will still be able to enjoy live music, purchase beers, play lawn games, and participate in post-ride festivities.

Are there washrooms on the trail?

Washrooms are available at three launch sites, where the Trail intersects with the following roads: 1. Salem Rd., Consecon, 2. West St., Wellington and 3. Station Rd., Hillier. At each of these sites, you will find an information kiosk with a bench, picnic table, and a seasonal washroom (May to mid-November).

What kind of terrain is the Millennium trail?

The Millenium trail mostly packed gravel (The surface is compacted crushed limestone screenings)

Do I have to take the shuttle bus, or can I drive myself?

You are welcome to drive yourself, carpool, or get to the start of the trail in whatever way is best for you and your group. If you choose not to take the bus, please indicate so in the registration form.

If I’m taking the bus, where do I leave my bike? 

You will leave your bike at our designated drop off locations. The County Emporium (2522 County Rd 64, Carrying Place) for the Full Ride and 64 West St, Wellington for the Fun Ride. There will be bike racks for you to leave your bikes at both locations, and Trail Jam crew will be there to attend them. We encourage you to tag and lock your bikes upon drop off. 

Can I ride an E-bike?

Yes! E-bikes are permitted in this event. West Lake E-Bikes is offering a special rental package for this event. Check out https://westlakeebikes.ca/

Can I ride a motorbike?

No. No motorized vehicles are permitted to participate in our June 16th ride.

How do I become a friend of the Millennium Trail?

Do I have to stop when the road crosses the trail?

YES. There are many times when paved roads cross the trail. You MUST follow all rules of the trail if you choose to ride it.

What if I get a flat tire?

We encourage everyone riding in the event (and whenever they’re on a bike) to carry a spare tube and proper tools with them. In case of emergency, our trail crew will be riding the trail with bike repair kits, first aid kits, and water.

Can I rent a bike?

Are you charging money to ride the Millennium Trail?

No. Your registration cost covers a shuttle from Prince Eddy’s to the County Emporium, a meal, T-Shirt*, live music, insurance, marketing, staff, and more. The trail is free and open to use for anyone.
